Classic Vintage Peugeot Mixte

This is one of the later Peugeot mixtes. We don’t mess with the early ones - French thread, cottered crank, plastic shifter/derailleur bikes. We built and sold this bike within the last year. Lightly ridden, well kept. Appears we put on a new rear wheel at the time with a full strip and build with Jagwire, Brooks B67 sprung saddle, North Road bar, etc. We have returned and cleaned back to specification so still has same Coco’s warranty. Currently with Brooks B67 $475 or $425 with a standard saddle.
 

We call these bikes bageutte slayers, as they are the perfect city bike for casual errands, farmer's market runs, riding to work or bar hopping. Unlike the burrito slayer, which is based on a MTB chassis, the baguette slayer is based on a drop bar road bike. Has a straight back, heads-up, see over cars riding position but is going to be faster, more nimble, more twitchy and less forgiving of potholes.

Where the burrito slayer mountain bike conversions are burly, take anything thrown at them, the baguette slayers are more delicate and refined. Lighter weight too.
