Schwinn Cross Hybrid
Team issue! If you were on Team Schwinn and Mr. Schwinn showed up to give you a Criss Cross in 1990, I would say that defeat would be guaranteed. It is not a bad bike. A nice solid city bike that you could ride on the occasional dirt road. But, as a team issued bike...
Hyperbole aside, this would be a great around town, sensible, comfortable, upright bike that could carry a lot of groceries and still be able to handle a couple Mac Book Airs. We did not replace the wheels as they are solid, serviceable and of a certain quality, but there are a few rusty spokes that don't look great. Priced commensurately lower, as it didn't make sense to replace the wheels and have to charge $80 more.
