If you buy a bike, we want you to be happy with it.
We have a 30 day refund policy on purchases. We will give a full refund with we receive it back in the same condition we sold it. If it has wear and can not be sold as a new bike or a used bike in the same condition, we will work with you to determine a fair restocking fee. It is not our intent to make money on returns, but if we need to sell the bike to the next customer for 10-20% less due to wear, we will charge you 10-20% commensurately.
Usually, a restocking fee is not charged. But, we have also had instances when someone came to town for a month and bought a bike to ride and then return it at the end for effectively a free rental. Also, the 30 days is not an extended try-out period to see if you like riding a bike in the city. We want to work with you to get the right bike at the outset and want you to be comfortable. Go on four test rides within 2 weeks? Fine! Go on a 2 hour ride on the path to make sure you like the fit? Sounds great!
We seek a fair arrangement for both sides.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Please email us if you would like to refund an item and we will provide you with shipping address. We do not pay for return shipping or refund originally packing and shipping costs. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
