C.N.C. Special French Road Bike
C.N.C. Special French Road Bike
This classic handmade lugged bike comes to us from Cycles C.N.C. in Paris, France. Constructed entirely of Reynolds 531 tubing with Campagnolo dropouts, it's sporting top of the line components from the best French manufacturers. Many of the parts are gold annodized, rare and highly collectible. We haven't done anything but give it a cleaning and it's offered here essentially "as found". Typical nicks and scratches that you would expect to find on a 40 year old race bike.
The paint is in overall great shape with gold lug lining and handpainted lettering on the downtube.
Unfortunately, there is a significant dent on the downtube of this frame. We suggest taking the frame to a skilled framebuilder to see if the dent can be "rolled out" using frame blocks. This would likely compromise the paint on the downtube. There is also a tiny cosmetic ding in the top tube. It's a gorgeous bike being offered "as is".
