FUNDRAISE - Electra Townie for Fire Victim

This is not a listing to purchase a bike for yourself. This is a fundraising request from Coco's to fund a specific bicycle and necessary repairs for an individual in need.

Currently, this is for victims of the 2025 California wildfires but we have done this before for other causes like the Skid Row Running Club. 

We are not a non-profit. We are charging 80% of our normal rates for labor and repair as we can't afford to do this for free. If you are looking for a non-profit that can provide a tax deduction receipt, we would refer you to our friends at Los Angeles' Bicycle Kitchen.

Need: Hans lost his house as did his neighbor. Neighbor is older and has a leg injury that only allows him to ride an Electra Townie-style of bike with the extremely low step over and the foot forward pedal design. 

We asked Joe Yee to go by the cheapest, nicest Townie he could find. It was quite dirty and scuffed up. It got a comprehensive clean up, one brake cable, new grips and used cruiser saddle. This photo is after cleaning but before the other work and upgrades. 

Funding Request: $163 covers buying the bike, grips, a used saddle and our discounted labor.
