Schwinn Le Tour Road Bike
Not that the bike is rare, but it is increasingly difficult for us to source and rebuild classic road bikes for sub-$400. Schwinn Le Tour, made in the USA, True Temper (like a shovel!) Must be one of the last non-Paramount lugged frames Schwinn made in the US. Indexed Suntour. New Cane Creek hoods, gumwalls, tubes, alloy road VP pedals, cork tape, Blackburn saddle, Cane Creek brake pads, Jagwire cable and housing, KMC chain. Now, some will say, “big deal! VP pedals, Cane Creek, Blackburn saddle, KMC chain...” Well, it ain’t fancy but it is a wide delta between what we do and a not uncommon Craigslist flip Duro tire, Endzone saddle, no hoods, hybrid pedals, hard ass black brake pads, galvanized cables with unlined housing, cheap chain suicide lever stemshifter. #notrichjustrad $395 57 CM #soapboxing
