Specialized Street Stomper City Bike Burrito Slayer

Wonderful Specialized Street Stomper reborn as a burrito slayer in Coco's signature style. Take an old, slack geometry steel mountain bike with a ton of distance between the rear tire and the seat tube and with a steep head angle and fork with some rake and convert for city duty with slick/semi-slick tires, a stem with a lot of rise and a bar with a lot of rise and sweep. That is formula. With that formula you can recast many a classic mountain bike as a killer street machine with surprisingly Rivendell-esque ride quality.

How much does color and graphics matter? CRITICAL!

In other words, if you are looking for an around town city bike that is comfy and forgiving with a lot of panache, consider the Coco's Burrito Slayer.

This Street Stomper was sold by us about a decade ago and we just bought it back and refurbished it. Velo Orange alloy, original Shimano indexed thumb shifters and new 1.5" city slick tires.
