Very unusual to find a vintage mountain bike of this era in a size this large. The frame is 23" with a 59 CM top tube. I am 6' 2" and it is a nice fit for me, but really couldn't be any bigger.

Arrived with the Simworks Homage celeste green tires and bottle cage, so a cool path was already established.

We removed the non-matching trigger shifters and replaced with thumb shifters. It had a Profile Designs treadless adapter and threadless stem, but I believe that burrito slayers work best with a very high Dirt Drop style quill stem. To get the rise that we like, the treadless adapter with a stem long and high enough ends up looking pretty horsey.

Complete strip and recable with stainless cables, lined housing, Fairdale saddle, new grips and our preferred Tektro FL-750 brake levers in the USA exclusive all black color way. We imported these levers directly.

All the fun for half the money. The tires alone would be $68 each. Are they worth it? Well, they are a great, made in Japan Panaracer tire in a perfect mostly street and occasional dirt path formula and the style points bring the bike to the right level.

Have a tall friend that you don't want to see on an aluminum Trek hybrid? Ring the bell and let them know!
