There are good and bad Mongooses. Current Mongooses are a sub-brand of the Goliath Pacific Cycles that also licensed Schwinn. They are big box store bikes of poor quality and are very heavy, This bike predates Pacific Cycles when they were still quality bikes. Very attractive, well kept in a great color.
