Got carried away on this one. Arrived in super rough condition and probably should have stepped away. Intent was to build a period, Strand ripping BMX cruiser for 'the Nice Price.' New BMX style tube 26" fork from J&B/Sunlite. New steel coaster wheels. Kenda gumwalls. XLC 1/2 bear trap pedals that are copies of the Suntour XC period mountain bike pedal (my favorite platform pedal.)

Don't think Suntour made a 1/2" thread pedal for the steel Schwinn one piece cranks. New Black Ops 4 bolt stem. New Fairdale wide BMX style cruiser bar with new Oury BMX bikes. Gold KMC chain.

A cool, moderately low buck build that you can accomplish pretty easy - escpecially if the bike comes with a decent wheel set and you can grab some swapmeet grade parts like the stem and pedals. Many would delete the chain guard on a build like this and you wouldn't be wrong, but we left it as it is original paint with a ghosted logo. If we can find an original headbadge, that would be a nice upgrade. If it was me, I would find a round Vuarnet sticker for a headbadge and hit the beach.

Coco's is a local bike shop, primarily selling local bikes. Dis-assembly, packing and shipping adds a hefty $150.
